I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH CANYONING, IS THIS AUTONOMOUS COURSE FOR ME?
Anyone without previous canyoning experience can registration for the International Canyoneer Autonomous course. Main goal of the course is adoption of international canyoning standards and skills and independent safe movement and performance of this sporting activity without professional accompaniment. CAN I ENTER TO THE EXPLORER LEVEL WITHOUT PRIOR EDUCATION?
Yes, but for participation in International Canyoneer Explorer level have an advantage those with previous participation in the Autonomous level (continuation of the educational line). It requires knowledge of basic canyoning standards from the Autonomous level. Without previous education in the Autonomous degree (or equivalent) we recommend to enter to the Explorer level with active experience in the field for at least 2 years. Without basic autonomous knowledge, the course is of no value to you and you may not be able to master it (there is no space for learning from the Autonomous level). Canyoneer Explorer – this is a certification of competence (confirmation of expertise) in the field. Goal of the course is adoption of international canyoning standards for the indicated level and ability to move independently in this area/field.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE INSTRUCTOR COURSE?
Registration to the International Canyoning Instructor course can anyone with a previous Autonomous or Explorer education or equivalent of the listed courses and at least 3 years of active canyoning experience. It is only possible to enter directly into the Instructor level without previous education if you have mastered 2-day IVS with a minimum success rate of 80%. It is a licensure course valid for 3 years. After expiration, license must be renewed with an e/test with min. 80% success rate. In case of failure, it is necessary to pass a physical written and technical test, including an onsight descent on the A5 line.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN EXTENSION COURSES SWA – HVA – ELE – ADR?
For participation in extension courses SWA, HVA, ELE, ADR is condition minimum education at the ICI level. Difficulty and content of the courses require knowledge and experience in the Instructor level.
WHAT´S IVS – INTERNATIONAL VALIDATION SKILLS?
IVS (International Validation Skills), is an international validation of your experience and skills. For min. success is considered a result of 80%. IVS consists of a written test, test of technical skills and a descent in prescribed line without S.F.E. In case of failure, it is not possible to repeat the IVS, payment for the IVS is forfeited and the only way how to continue an education is to start at a lower level.
WHAT IS THE CONTENT OF THE FINAL EXAM?
Regular exam is the completion of the course in the given degree. It always consists of a written test, a technical test and a descent of prescribed line without S.F.E. In case of failure, I can repeat the final exam only once, no later than within 6 months from the date of the regular exam.
WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR RE/EXAM?
Re/Exam has only one attempt. It consists of a technical test and a descent in the line of the prescribed level. In case of failure payment for the Re/Exam is forfeited and the course must be repeated in full range.

Dedicated to the precise preparation of your equipment, you will also ready for a small entry test, you will learn the detailed requirements of the upcoming course, org requirements and others. These time is very important for you before start of the course.
